About the NATA B.Arch mock tests
NATA has two very different halves: 90 minutes of drawing and 3D composition, then 90 minutes of aptitude questions on screen. Our NATA mock tests give you both, with mentor marking for your compositions and instant scores for Part B.
NATA 2027 dates are announced by the Council of Architecture; in 2026, Phase 1 tests ran from April to June. Source: NATA brochure, Council of Architecture. Always confirm dates on the official website.

Total 200 marks. NATA doesn't publish marks per Part B question; our mock uses 2 marks per MCQ and 4.5 per numerical question to reach 120.
What every mock includes
- Part A: composition and colour, sketching, and a 3D composition
- Part B: 42 multiple-choice and 8 numerical questions
- Drawings and 3D model photographed and uploaded for mentor marking
How to use NATA mocks well
- Part B allows about 108 seconds a question: practise visual reasoning (views, nets, rotations) until it's quick.
- In Part A, plan each composition with thumbnails first; scale, proportion, and shade and shadow carry the marks.
- For the 3D composition, practise with simple materials at home and photograph your model from more than one angle.
NATA mock test: questions
What is the NATA exam pattern?
Part A (90 minutes, offline): composition and colour, sketching, and a 3D composition — 80 marks. Part B (90 minutes, online): 42 multiple-choice and 8 numerical questions — 120 marks. Total 200.
Can I take NATA more than once?
NATA allows multiple attempts in a cycle; the Council of Architecture announces the rules for each year in the brochure.
What materials can I use in NATA Part A?
Pencils, eraser, sharpener, dry colours and a scale up to 15 cm, as per the brochure. Our mock questions list the materials too.
Is Mock Test 1 really free?
Yes. Fill in a short form and Mock 1 of any series opens straight away, timed and marked like the paid tests. Objective questions are marked instantly, and a TDH mentor reviews up to 2 of your drawing answers. In the full series, every drawing is marked.
Can I get personal guidance on my mock tests?
Yes. Connect with our counsellors to book a one-on-one session with a TDH mentor, for example to go through your answers, your drawings and your plan for the next few weeks. Mentor sessions are paid and booked separately from the mock test series.
What do I get in the full series?
10 full-length mock tests on the latest pattern of your exam, instant scores with section-wise and topic-wise reports, explanations for every objective question, and your drawing answers marked by a TDH mentor with written feedback. ₹799 at launch (MRP ₹999).
How do the drawing questions work online?
Just like the real exam, you draw on paper during the test. When time is up you get 20 extra minutes to photograph your sheets and upload them. A TDH mentor marks them against the criteria in the question and emails you the marks and feedback.
What if my internet drops or the page closes?
Your answers save automatically every few seconds, and the timer runs on our server. Reopen the test on any device and you'll continue where you left off, with the time that's left.
Can I take the tests on a phone?
Yes, the test screen works on phones, but a laptop or tablet is closer to the real computer-based exams. Keep your phone handy to photograph drawing answers.
When are new tests released?
New mocks are added through the season, each one checked by our mentors before release. Your series page shows which tests are open and which are coming next.
How do I open my tests on another device?
Use 'Sign in' on the mock tests page with the email you used to pay. We'll email you a link that signs you in on that device.
